Since we are getting close to the end of the year, we have decided to do a senior spotlight this week. We gave Alyssa Bush a series of questions, about how her years were here at West, and more. Here are her answers:
Going into high school Alyssa was most scared about her classes being harder, she was also worried about the virtual classes. Going into high school she always knew what field she wanted to go into. She plans to attend WVU Tech as a pre nursing stu dent to receive a bachelor of science in nursing. She said her high school experience was fun but she is excited to move onto new things, and she will miss all her teachers and her friends. She participated in lots of activities during her years. She participated in lots of school, church activities, and more. She also did 4-H throughout her years. She would tell the new Seniors coming up to stay on top of college and scholarship applications. If she gave any advice to the new Freshman coming up, she would tell them to challenge themselves to do hard things and never give up on their goals.
Out of all four years of high school, her favorite day was junior year spirit bowl, because it was a beautiful day and they definitely won!! Out of all of her years one thing she wished she would have done better, was challenging herself more, and she wishes she would have joined more clubs. Out of all the memories she made during high school making memories with her friends stood out to her the most. Her favorite class throughout her years was ceramics class.
Out of all of her teachers throughout her years, the teacher that inspires her the most is Mrs. Boone. “She is always encouraging her students to be kind and to do great things. ” Getting to hear about some of Alyssa’s memories here at Greenbrier West, we want to wish her the very best with continuing her career!
