Prom 2021: Arabian Nights
Katie Criss April 27, 2021

After a tough year, juniors and seniors got what they wanted most out of the 2020-2021 academic year: PROM! We are very thankful to Mrs. Robertson and the Greenbrier County Board of Education for making this possible, especially Mrs. Robertson. She has bent over backward for us to be able to have a somewhat normal school year. Due to Covid Regulations, only light refreshments will be provided and masks will be required, but regardless Arabian Nights will be held in the Old Gym this Saturday, May 1st, from 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm. The last day to buy tickets is Tuesday, April 27th, so make sure you stop by Ms. Gilkeson’s room and get yours. We cannot wait to see you there!

Pentagon Confirms UFO Sighting
Lee Cline, writer/reporter/editor • April 26, 2021

This week footage has leaked of ‘pyramid-shaped’ UFOs. The footage was distributed by Jeremy Corbell, a documentary filmmaker, and Geroge Knapp, a reporter based in Las Vegas. The leaks also include grainy infrared images and smartphone pictures taken aboard an FA-18 fighter. A statement by Susan Gough, a Pentagon spokesperson, confirmed the validity of the footage captured by the U.S Navy personnel. “I can confirm that the referenced photos and videos were taken by Navy personnel. The UAP (Task Force) has included these incidents in their ongoing examinations,” To ensure operations security The Department of Defense will not publicly discuss the findings of the UAP. The sighting was originally captured on May 1st, 2020, and shared during a briefing at an Office of Naval Intelligence. The footage was then leaked to Corbell who worked closely with Knapp to verify the authenticity of the footage before releasing it to the public. In recent years the U.S government has been...

Lady Cavs VS James Monroe
Lady Cavs VS James Monroe
Madison Winfrey, Sports Writer • April 1, 2021

On March 31st, our Lady Cavaliers went up against the James Monroe Mavericks on home turf. The girls put up a tough fight and held their own. The game was so intense, one of our fans got kicked out for unseemly behavior.  Some felt the refs made unfair calls in favor of the Mavericks. Our girls played the best to their ability in spite of the officials not being on their side. They stayed calm, cool and collected and brushed off any bad calls. Even though the Lady Cavs played a good game, it sadly came to a 30-56 loss. In my personal opinion, I would say Natalie Agee was the player of the game. Many bad calls were made towards her but she continued to play professional. When the Mavericks played rough, she got up and kept going. She had amazing hustle in this game, diving for every out of bound ball, making plays and being a real leader to her team. She is what the Lady Cavs should aspire to be. She didn't give up hope once in the game even when it wasn't in her favor. Keep up the...
