2023 has already broken records for being the hottest year on record. The hottest summer on record was featured this year in the months July and August. Not only that but the hottest day recorded on Earth for several days in a row was recorded at the beginning of July. The last time Earth recorded a colder-than-average- year was set in 1976. Many believe that this will only keep getting worse as the years go on and temperatures will continue to rise gradually. Earth’s average temperature is rising by 1.5 °C above pre-industrial levels for many years now.
