As of 4:00 p.m., Fayette County experienced the most damage, with 74% of customers having no power. Clay, Lincoln, Kanawha, and Nicholas all had over half of people with no power. As a result of the storm, all schools in Fayette County are closed on Wednesday, the 3. Schools in Lincoln will have a non-traditional learning day.
As of Wednesday, the 3, Western Greenbrier County is under a winter storm warning, with an estimated 2 to 7 inches of snow. The snow is estimated to last on Saturday. This may lead to further power outages, and a day or two of non-traditional learning. If you go outside during this storm, stay safe; bring extra food and water in case of an emergency.
