in the early morning

when the moon still lingers in the sky

and the sun is peeking over the horizon

i am thinking of you. 

in the middle of the day

when im at my minimum wage job

as i watch the clock tick tick tick on the wall

i am thinking of you

at sunset 

when i’m laying in bed

watching bad reality television

i am thinking of you
