The New Years has finally arrived after a long year of waiting for it 2024 is finally here! For the New Years alot of people go by “new year new me” although not everyone chooses to go by that and lets the new year decide if they should start new habits or quit old ones. That never stops anyone from making themselves a new bucket list for things they’ve always wanted to do or try. We’ve went around and asked the kids at West what they think about making a new bucket list or the ”New year new me.” saying and if they believe in it or not. Most kids around West said they didnt really care much for ”New year new me.” saying that they could change at any point of the year they dont need the new years as an excuse to, although some kids disagreed and said that it helps gives people motivation to change and work harder to fix themselves for the New Years. The most common things people seem to have on their bucketlist if they have one, is get better grades this year, come to school more, and to stop being friends with so many people or make more friends. Some however were uncommon such as go bungee cord jumping, see the seven wonders and swim with dolphins. So far 2024 is looking like a good year for everyone so far. If you have one I encourage you to fullfill your own wishes and be happy. Which all sounds fun I hope they get to do all of those things but the real questions is, do you have a bucket list for 2024?
