A few new teachers at Greenbrier West High School have officially commenced teaching their students on August 29, 2023. Mr. Andrew Kenney, born in 1987, was included in the list of new teachers for 2023.
Mr. Kenney was a student and graduated from Greenbrier West High School. He then attended the community college and the University of Charleston. Because he graduated here at West, he decided to stay and become a first-time teacher. Since he was a student here before, finding his way around was somewhat easy for him, except for a few changes here and there. He is currently teaching his students Biology and Physical Science teacher.
Mr. Kenney is prepared to teach his students this year. If you haven’t yet, give a nice and warm welcome to Mr. Kenney, and we hope to wish him a thrilling first year at Greenbrier West!

I don’t have Mr. Kenny in class, being a freshman. But he always greets me in the mornings when I come in and all his students seem to like him.
