As some of you are aware, the Meadow River Rail Trail will be returning to our school this year for clubs and meeting with the students. During these meetings, if students attend, you will be able to cooperate and discuss what should be added to the trails and propose ideas. Last year many students were able to attend meetings during school hours, preview the trails, and go to the trails in person as a field trip. If you are interested in this ask Mrs. Leef, Mr. Price, Peyton Ford, or yours truly Ashton Dale.

Alright, y’all. I biked it! My husband and I put in at Mile Marker 37 and biked to MM 31 and back for a 12 mile ride. A good portion of the ride out was an incline, so we got a good workout. It was very dark when we got back to the car, and we hear coyotes howling all around us. I actually left some of my biking gear on because I didn’t want to hang around there in the dark. I highly recommend this trail. It’s beautiful, and I can’t wait for the Rainelle portion to open.
