Greenbrier West has welcomed a few new teachers to our amazing school this year, one of those teachers is Mrs Willey. Mrs Willey is the new 10th and 11th grade history teacher that took Mr Mills spot. Her room is located in the bottom of A building at the very end of the hall. She is 57 years old and has been teaching for a combined 23 years, working as a elementary teacher, asl teacher and an administrator, but it was time for a change so she came to Greenbrier West. Mrs Willey explains she came to West because “it was time for a change” and she was “ready to teach highschool”. So far she loves it! She goes on about how she likes all her co-workers, students and classes. Some interesting things about her that may surprise you is she knows how to speak and understand Spanish, she lived in Italy for a few years and she only likes dark chocolate. A couple years ago she found out she is a type 1 diabetic, but that doesn’t stop her from anything. When Mrs Willey is not at work she stays home with her yorkie named Macie and spends time with her husband. We hope you have a good first year here. So Welcome Mrs Willey to Greenbrier West,we are excited to have you here.
