On Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, Concord University E-sports teamed up with Greenbrier West High School to host an e-sports event. Games in the event included Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Mario Kart 8, and Rocket League. 

The tournaments were set up by members of the Concord E-sports team and other people in contact with them. Concord E-sports director Austin Clay made an appearance, scouting for future talents and giving students opportunities to join the organization. 

The winners of each tournament include 

Super Smash Brothers: Isaiah Feamster

Mario Kart 8: Sawyer Burns

Rocket League: Patrick Tharp

All three winners were given 500$ of scholarship money towards Concord University, a certificate from Concord, a first-place medal, a Concord E-sports jersey, and a 25$ Gamestop gift card.
