It’s an extremely beneficial scholarship for those planning on staying in state to further their education. It will pay $5,000 per year, or the cost of tuition and mandatory fees, whichever is less.

Recently, the minimum SAT and ACT score requirements for the scholarship were lowered.

Students may take the ACT and SAT after submitting their application. Remaining SAT testing dates to qualify from Promise are May 7th and June 4th. Different tests sites are available for students as well, you may view these sites either on collegeboard.com or ask Mrs. Boggs, the school counselor.  Remaining ACT testing dates to qualify for Promise are April 2nd, June 11th, and July 16th.
