On Tuesday, May 4th, the Webster County softball team traveled to Western Greenbrier Middle School, West’s softball home field.

The Lady Cavs softball team played JV and Varsity games due to both games being rained out a few weeks ago. It was a nice day to play: it was in the low 70’s outside with a slight bit of wind to stay cool.

Junior Karli Holliday commented on the games: “I think that we’ve really improved as the season has gone on, and I’m sure everyone can see the change we’ve made! We are a really young team, but I’m proud of us and how far we’ve come since our first game!”

Both teams battled and kept their heads up, but after many innings, Greenbrier West softball team came out with a big win over Webster County: Varsity 11-3, JV 13-1.
