Biden began his first day in presidency on January 20, 2021, some would say, “undoing”
all of the previous president, Donald Trumps work.

Biden has already signed off on at least 17
memorandums one being holting all construction and funding for Trumps wall. He also reversed
his travel ban targeting largely Muslim countries and embraced progressive policies on the
environment and diversity that Trump spent four years blocking. He made the decision to
enforce the mask policy, as Trump did not do before. Biden actually did more reinforcement to
show he is taking Covid-19 seriously. So it’s pretty accurate to say he is the opposite of Trump.
Biden stated, “There’s no time to start like today,” and “I’m going to start by keeping the promises I made to the American people.”

Everything Biden has revered in his few days of presidency:
● “Stops the United States withdrawal from the World Health Organization, with Dr. Anthony Fauci becoming the head of the delegation to the WHO”
● “Rejoins the Paris climate accord, a process that will take 30 days”
● “Cancels the Keystone XL pipeline and directs agencies to review and reverse more than
100 Trump actions on the environment”
● “Rescinds the Trump administrations 1776 Commission, directs agencies to review their actions to ensure racial equity”
● “Requires non-citizens to be included in the Census and apportionment of congressional representatives”
● “Reverses the Trump administrations restrictions on US entry for passport holders from seven Muslim-majority countries”
● “Undoes Trumps expansion of immigration enforcement within the United States”
● “Halts construction of the border wall by terminating the national emergency declaration used to fund it”
● “Directs OMB director to develop recommendations to modernize regulatory review and undoes Trumps regulatory approval process”
