Back in the fall, the Greenbrier West football team made it to the second round of the playoffs. To honor their achievements, on February the 11th, the Greenbrier County Board of Education invited the Greenbrier West football to celebrate their successful football season. At the meeting, the West football team was congratulated with an award. Coach Harris spoke on behalf of the team. He spoke of how much he enjoyed coming back to coach this talented group of kids. He also spoke of watching them lift and run all summer preparing themselves for the upcoming season. After their discussion, they took pictures of the boys and coaches as the audience applauded and cheered on.
