A recent worldwide epidemic has people worrying about their respiratory health.

The Coronavirus is a family of viruses which includes severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS). Symptoms including runny nose, cough, sore throat, high fever and a headache.

The Cornavirus can be as simple as the common cold or as deadly as SARS and MERS.

The latest new coronavirus, that has most of the world concerned about a possible pandemic has been named the 2019 Novel Coronavirus or 2019-nCoV. It first diagnosed in Wuhan, China, following many other areas including the United States, South Korea, France, Australia and Canada. It can spread to all mammals and was rumored to start this 2020 from exotic meats being sold in a Chinese flea market which included fresh bat, snakes, and even canine meat.

With more than 2,700 confirmed cases and 80 deaths and 60 million cases, the 2019 Novel Coronavirus seems like it could be as dangerous as MERS and SARS.

To avoid infection if you feel cautious make sure to stay clear of people who are sick, wear an N95 medical grade flu mask if necessary, and keep clean by washing your hands often and using hand sanititizer when needed.
