On 11/15/19, our volleyball team will be playing in the West Virginia state volleyball tournament. We decided to highlight some of our senior volleyball players in a series of articles. In this article, we asked our senior, Kenley Posten, about how she feels about playing volleyball.

What does volleyball mean to you?

“I started volleyball at a young age, and it has always been a part of me. It’s more than just a sport to me: it’s a part of my life.”

What would be some skills for someone to play volleyball?

“Just to try hard and give it all you got. And you will see progress as time goes by.”

What position do you play?

“I started off as a middle hitter, but now I am an outside hitter.”

Why did you start playing volleyball?

“I saw older girls do it, and it made me want to try to play it and see what would come of it.”

If you had the chance to keep playing would you?

“If I had the chance, I would definitely play volleyball; I love high school sports and the people that I am surrounded by while playing.”
