October 24th, 2019 Mrs. McQuain and members of her FBLA program and business classes traveled to Athens, West Virginia for the 26th annual Concord Business Challenge. The Concord Business Challenge is hosted by business professors and students at Concord, allowing high school students to test their knowledge of business. 

We began our day bright and early, at about 6:45 Thursday morning, after what seemed like a bus ride that lasted forever, we finally arrived. The business challenge consists of three tests that range anywhere from current business events, business marketing, to even accounting. The almost 400 participating students compete against each other to win either a $4,000 or $1,000 scholarship, the 12 scholarship winners will be selected based on the scores of the test that they chose to take. Greenbrier West’s own Amberlie Wilson took home a  $1,000 scholarship.
