For the first game of the season, Greenbrier West football players and cheerleaders took the long ride to Buffalo. With the boys holding every block on the field not letting Buffalo score, Greenbrier West ended the first quarter with one touchdown to nothing. Unfortunately, due to lightning delays, we had to stop the game for thirty-minutes. Returning to the game, even with a slippery field, the boys became even more unstoppable. By the end of the game, Greenbrier West was 27, and Buffalo County was 0.
