Greenbrier West’s theater club has been rehearsing to perform The Little Mermaid for our community and schools. They have worked very hard to perfect their roles in this musical. Aaliyah Painter has been in theater for 3 years, and this is the first musical she has ever performed. The Little Mermaid is also the biggest performance she has ever done. Aaliyah, as well as the rest of the theater students, have been practicing every Tuesday and Thursday since October for an average of 3 hours. Aaliyah stands out by portraying six different characters: Auquata, a sailor, a chef, a sea creature, a princess, and a seagull. Today they perform for the entire school at 1:30 this afternoon. We are excited to see how their hard work and dedication shows in their musical!
