On Friday March 1st, the Cavaliers took on the Greater Beckley Crusaders and to say that the game had you on your toes would be a huge understatement. In the beginning of the first quarter, the Crusaders were up 17-4 and then Coach Rob called a timeout and since then a fire was lit underneath the Cavaliers. We stole the ball multiple times and ended the first half with Noah Midkiff dunking the ball to tie the score. Ever since that moment, our boys were unstoppable. Although it was a close game, we ended up being sectional champions with a score of 64 to 59. Therefore, we were on our road to states. Tomorrow night we will play Charleston Catholic at home and if we win we will head to Charleston and aim for the state title. Cavalier crazies, be at west tomorrow at seven o’clock to support our boys!
