On Saturday January 26th, Van Bulldogs traveled to Greenbrier West for the second round of the HIT tournament, despite their 3-8 record, Van was ready to put up a fight for the win. The first quarter was a tight race between both teams, West managed to finish the first half with a nine point lead. Noah Midkiff had twenty seven of Greenbrier West’s thirty-three points in the first half. After the half, West took a twenty-two point lead in the third quarter, but a few threes from Van quickly caught them back up. The O’Dell twins both flirted with triple-doubles, each having multiple blocks and rebounds. West managed to finish the game with 69-56 win over Van.
