Inside the Smoke

Vaping is becoming more and more popular among teenagers. Researchers assume that this form of smoking is more common than cigarettes because kids do not know the harmful side effects. Most people only look at the fact that it is less likely to cause cancer and does not smell or taste near as bad as a cigarette; however, vapes damage and destroy cells in our body. Nicotine is highly addictive and some of the same chemicals that are found in cigarettes, are also found in vape juice. These chemicals include propylene glycol, nicotine, carcinogens, formaldehyde, and metals. It is too early to tell what the negative effects long term vaping causes on your body and lungs, but short term effects are enough to scare you away.
