Democracy at Greenbrier West
On Wednesday, September 26th the seniors that are interested in voting in the upcoming elections, which take place in November met up in the auditorium. They were required to bring their I.D’s to prove that they will be over 18 by the time elections start. There was a representative from each party that expressed each view that the party held. The students then had the opportunity to then register for whichever party they are interested in. The representatives expressed the importance of everyone voting to make democracy truly work as a fairer form of government. Isaiah T. Stanley volunteered with helping the proceedings and is heavily involved in politics.
