Tuesday, September 12, Greenbrier West had a cross country meet at Big Ditch Lake in Webster County. There were approximately 84 female participants and 124 male participants. Danielle Roberts came in tenth place overall in girls: she had a time of about 23 minutes. There were a total of 14 male teams and 9 female teams. A team consists of 5 teammates. Everyone on the team must cross the finish line to get a score. Much like golf, the lowest score wins and the higher you place the lower your score is.
