The Land of Stories is a very meta book that follows these twins, Alex and Connor, to a world unlike ours. It’s the world of Grimm’s Fairy Tales, or so they thought.

Alex and Connor find themselves trapped in this world of magic, and in this world of magic they find out multiple things, and meet all kinds of people from Little Red Riding Hood to Cinderella, and the only way out of this world of magic back home is to use The Wishing Spell to wish themselves home, where secrets become uncovered.

I personally went on a whim when I picked this book up and decided to read it, but I love this book and this book series.
