Track @ Nicholas County HS

On Thursday, March 29th, the boys and girls track team had their first meet in the small town of Summersville at Nicholas County High School. It was the perfect weather for a track meet; it was sunny and 75 degrees. There was a lot of first place ribbons handed out that day, for example: Julie Agee got first place in the 100 meter dash, but took extreme measures to get that pretty blue ribbon. “I seen the finish line and just dove for it,” she said “I wasn’t about to let that girl beat me.”

The meet was successful for many people, and the Cavaliers came home with 109 points for the girls (5th overall), and boys with 113 points (5th overall).
