West is Fueling Up to Play 60! Our goal is for the students to “play” by getting at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day and to “fuel up” with new breakfast menu items. At the end of this week, students will have an opportunity to sign up for Fuel Up to Play 60 online. Signing up and participating allows West to compete with other schools to see whose can be the healthiest.

We will kick off this program next week starting on Monday October 16 through Friday October 20th. We will have a Walkathon every day that week out on the track from 7:15 -7:50 am, and for 15 minutes a day during each lunch period. We will “fuel up” with a new breakfast item: breakfast smoothies, full of healthy fruit and yogurt. Our goal is to create habits of daily exercise and healthier breakfast and lunches for the school. We hope to see you on the track in the cafeteria!
