The Cavs played their homecoming game this past Friday in a tight game with the Pocahontas County Warriors, who are ranked 15th. Pocahontas started the game off strong with their fast-paced offense pulling ahead to an early lead. The Cavs however, didn’t let that stop them from putting on a show and making it a close game before half-time. Pocahontas was in the lead at the start of the 4th, but there was a power outage with nine minutes left to go in the game. After the power came back on, the game was continued. The fans cheered and the atmosphere was great for our Cavaliers. After all their efforts it still wasn’t enough to overcome the Warriors with the final score being Pocahontas- 34 West- 21.
