On September 29th, 2017, GWHS College and Honors English classes traveled to Lewisburg, WV to Greenbrier Valley Theatre to watch the performance of To Kill A Mockingbird written by Harper Lee and revised by Christopher Sergel. Everyone had a wonderful time as they watched an American classic which helped convey the toils of racism and the wrath of the who want to do you harm. The students were enveloped in the trial of Tom Robinson, an African-American man accused of a crime that he may or may not have committed, which alludes events that happen in recent years.
