The Cavaliers played in a smash mouth low scoring game with the Covington Cougars this week. It was back and forth the entire game. We saw a defensive game like no other this week. It could have gone either way for either team. The Cavs showed a lot of promise but just couldn’t get it passed the pylons when they needed to. Covington pulled through late in the 3rd quarter to make the game 8-0. And then scored again in the 4th making it 14-0 after the fail 2 point conversion attempt. West lost a close game with the final Covington 14, Greenbrier West 0. Our Cavs will travel on the road next week to Buffalo. Let’s go Cavaliers!
