New Year, New You! Let’s be honest, 2016 was a bust: We lost some of the most influential people of our era such as David Bowie, Prince, Carrie Fisher, and Harambe; “Dabbing” was a thing; and we all were legitimately afraid that killer clowns were going to break into our houses. So, to start off on the right foot in 2017, we asked GWHS students what some of their New Year’s Resolutions were.

Jara Hall- “Know I’m ready for college.”

Kaitlyn McDade- “To work harder.”

Ryan Laxton- “To learn how to do a cartwheel.”

Gennevieve Neff- “Get scholarships for college.”

Adam Johnson- “Get a better ACT score.”

Khalil Page- “To be successful.”

Cody Feamster- “Get a job.”

Maggee Wessells- “Get a car.”

Madison Scarles- “To actually do something with my life.”

Skyler Snuffer- “Procrastinate less.”

Madison Burke- “Enjoy life more.”

Taylor Walker- “To do everything to the best of my ability.”

Kaley Vestal- “Read More.”

Alex Wills- “To get over my hate and vengeance.”

Logan Seldomridge- “To save more money.”

Kendall Hammons- “To learn to play another instrument.”

Kaytelyn Canfield- “Get a job.”
