5)The Santa Clause

 

An ordinary man struggling to connect with his young son accidentally causes the real Santa Claus to fall from his roof on Christmas Eve. This man, Scott Calvin, then learns that sine his son convinced him to put on the new deceased Santa’s coat, he is becoming Santa himself and has to take over his responsibilities, all while trying to avoid losing custody of his son to his ex-wife and her new husband.

4). White Christmas

After fighting in World War II, American brothers-in-arms Bob and Phil tour America, winning people over with their combined musical talent and making their way to Broadway. When a former friend from the war contacts Bob and Phil and urges them to see his two sisters’ musical act, a romance begins to bloom. Bob and Phil join the two women in Vermont, where they all work together to save the inn of their former commanding officer.

3).Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Based on the famous children’s book by Dr. Suess, this movie will not only warm the Grinch’s heart, but the hearts of everyone who watches it. In a cave overlooking Whoville -a small, festive town full of happy-go-lucky “Whos”- lives a grumpy Grinch –ugly, green, and with a heart two sizes too small- who plots to destroy the Christmas spirit in Whoville. Little does he know that the Whos are good for more than decorating Christmas trees.

2) Home Alone

The McCallister family has a tradition of leaving behind their youngest son, Kevin, but you really can’t blame them, because they have a horde of children and cousins to keep up with). Kevin discovers two burglars, Harry and Marv, who are about to rob his house on Christmas Eve. Kevin acts quickly by wiring his own house with makeshift booby traps to stop the burglars and to bring them to justice. This movie will make you laugh, cry, and relate to how dysfunctional your own family is.

1).It’s a Wonderful Life

An old movie that has a timeless appeal, this classic has everything. George Bailey has spent his entire life giving of himself to the people of Bedford Falls. After his business goes bankrupt, George’s prayers are answered by an angel named Clarence who shows him that money is nothing without the people who love you to share it with.
