Coming off a loss, the Cavaliers hosted the Meadow Bridge Wildcats on Friday, December 16th.

The Cavs and Cats are long time rivals. As history will tell, West has dominated the match-up over the years. However, Bridge has won the series over the past two seasons. This didn’t mean anything though, West is a totally different team this season.

The game started off as a rout for West, leading by 9. However, Bridge came right back into it. By the half, the Wildcats took a 1 point lead.
The second half was close the entire way. With only 1 minute to go, West was down by 2. Within that period, the Cavs converted and tied it up with only 6 seconds remaining. Regulation came to an end, 43-43. West had overtime to finish the job.

Overtime was make-or-break. West took the opportunity to absolutely end any doubts. The Cavaliers went on a 13-0 run (9 of which were contributed by Hunter Bevins) to close the game, winning 56-43.
