The Cavaliers hosted Midland Trail on Tuesday night. Having come off a disappointing loss to Indy, West wanted to make a statement by handling Trail. By doing so, the Cavs would be back on the winning track.

The game was rather close throughout the first. Colin O’dell scored the ball impressively inside, but Trail started converting on jump shots. This gave the Patriots a 7 point cushion into half time.

The second half was demoralizing for West, leaving the Trail shooters open for easy buckets. However, West stayed with 4 or 5 points until the end of the fourth. Trail shut the Cavalier offense down, and then made the stops worth it by scoring on the other end. West ended the night losing, 49-63.
